Collaborate with others to create a cool animated short!
We’ll write our script, create lots of drawings, build scenery and design characters that we’ll rig to animate. We’ll use our storyboard skills to create artistic camera shots and quickly tell our story with voice acting, foley work and finally putting it all together with video editing so that it can be published on the web and shared with friends. Lots of work and super fun!
Learn about:
I started out teaching Flash over 10 years ago and it is still one of the best 2D animation tools out there. Flash animation is still viewed in a regular video format so all devices can enjoy Flash animation and cartoons.
I am delighted to share this new workshop with Flash users but I also want friends who don't have Adobe software to be able to participate in spreading the weird so I've resurrected an old cartoon template that I'd like your group of Techy Teens to use and make something incredible together.
If you would like to bring your drawing, writing, acting, and musical skills, bring your super brains and talent, to a hand-drawn group cartoon project this is the one!
Here are the files that I created with you in class, including notes from the lesson for you to practice and get to be really good with Blender. >> Blender Projects <<
Go to this page to download your stop-motion animation pieces. The individual images, audio and Blender files are there in folders with your name. Although we ran out of time I did edit your audio and put it in Blender but I may not have gotten it in the correct place. You can make those adjustments in the Video Sequence Editor and render your movie again. >> Stop Motion Projects <<
